1870 - FRANCE, BALLON MONTE - LA VILLE DE FLORENCE - Envelope with text, postal franchise sent from "PARIS 5 (60) 5 - 24 SEPT 70" (rare "Cachet de Route" datestamp) to Lyon, arrived on October 1st after having been transported by the "Ville de Florence" (p). Rare use of postal franchise during the siege for a soldier of the "Garde Mobile", confirmed by the black boxed "P.P." on the cover. Robineau certificate.
